Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Informatics Trainer to support Epic user readiness across the enterprise. The role focuses on maintaining Epic certifications, planning and delivering training, and collaborating with clinicians and IT leaders to optimize workflows and patient safety.

The ideal candidate will earn Epic credentialing within three months of hire and will train independently to ensure end-user proficiency across multiple Epic modules.

Qualifications

  • Certifications: Epic Certification - EPICEPIC.
  • Epic Certification within 3 months - EPICEPIC.
  • Education: Experience In Lieu of Education.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology
  • Bachelor's Degree: Related Field

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, attend, lead, and document notes/minutes of meetings.
  • Earn and maintain Epic certification or credentials.
  • Plan, schedule, and deliver training.
  • Adhere to standardized training curricula, class length, and delivery methods.
  • Provide follow-up support to users after training.
  • Assess EHR skills of clinicians and providers and recommend training.
  • Utilize approved survey tools to evaluate training outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders, clinical staff, and providers to plan and evaluate EHR changes.
  • Maintain relationships with team, clinicians, providers, and partners.
  • Serve as liaison between clinicians, providers, and IT.
  • Lead and participate in projects at local, regional, and system levels.
