Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an Epic EHR specialist to lead development, support, and rollout of Epic applications across the health system. You will optimize workflows by configuring Epic modules to meet organizational needs and collaborate with clinical and operational teams.

Responsibilities include participating in all phases of the system development life cycle, creating documentation, leading testing during upgrades, and providing hands-on training and on-site support to end users.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
3-5 years of relevant IIS, clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Epic Certification: Certification in one or more Epic modules (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Willow, Orders) is highly desirable.
For IIS candidates: Experience in systems integration, data management, healthcare IT, and workflow automation.
For Clinical candidates: Hands-on clinical experience with a deep understanding of clinical workflows and patient care processes.
Strong problem-solving and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
Operational experience in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate Epic IT projects and team activities.
Develop, configure, and modify Epic applications to support clinical and operational needs.
Coordinate testing phases during implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.
Provide hands-on training and on-site support to end users.
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams across the health system.
Serve as project lead for Epic software releases and new implementations.
