Job summary

Salinas Valley Health is seeking an Epic Manager to lead Epic EHR applications across inpatient and ambulatory settings. The role focuses on executing executive strategies through project management, training nurses and clinicians, and ensuring successful system implementations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, Epic Certification, and at least four years of healthcare informatics leadership experience in an acute care environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Epic Certification/Accreditation required within 90 days of employment.
• Two years healthcare leadership experience required.
• Four years in a healthcare clinical environment with focus on clinical informatics.
• Experience with acute care workflows and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic EHR/PM implementations and coordinate Epic application support.
• Act as primary Super User for Epic software applications and provide staff training.
• Oversee system upgrades, builds, testing, validation and optimization.
• Develop training curricula for end-users and generate data reports as needed.
• Support Change Management, project management, and cross-department collaboration.
