Job summary

Salinas Valley Health is seeking an Epic Cadence/Epic Prelude Analyst to collaborate with stakeholders and end users throughout the system development lifecycle. The role focuses on assessment, design, build, testing, training, and implementation of Epic software, bridging technical solutions with operational needs in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), and Epic Cadence & Epic Prelude certification with a goal to complete

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a healthcare-related clinical environment or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems analysis, design, build, testing and support of Epic applications.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary support contact for Cadence & Prelude Epic application.
• Identifies and resolves issues within the assigned application and documents troubleshooting records.
• Guides design of workflows, builds and tests the system, and troubleshoots Epic software issues.
• Implements changes to the system, communicates updates to teams and end-users as needed.
• Maintains regular communication with Epic representatives and project teams to ensure alignment and progress.
• Ensures the system meets business needs and project deliverables and timelines.
• Assists with developing end-user training and collaborates with Education team on training content.
• Reviews project status and timelines with Team Lead and Management to resolve issues promptly.
• Builds application-specific workflows for various hospital and clinic settings.
• Completes comprehensive testing cycles and secures stakeholder signoff for changes.
• Leads initiatives for system enhancements and upgrades while adhering to best practices.
• Follows change management protocols for all application changes and documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
