Job summary

Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data and EHR Support Analyst to optimize Epic workflows, develop reports and dashboards, and support staff with training and onboarding.

The role collaborates closely with Clinical Informatics to enhance data quality and operational reporting across clinical and grant-related initiatives. The position requires healthcare/IT experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and Epic reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, and/or information sciences is required.
• Two to four years of experience in healthcare, health information technology, quality improvement, data analytics, or related field is required.
• Medical terminology and understanding of workflows are required.
• Experience with Epic (preferred) and reporting tools like Power BI, Excel, SQL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Complete EHR Support Analyst training and develop knowledge of Epic applications and workflows.
• Serve as frontline resource for staff questions related to Epic and clinical applications.
• Troubleshoot routine Epic issues and coordinate escalation for complex problems.
• Support onboarding of new providers and staff with Epic orientation and workflow education.
• Assist with Epic personalization and development of templates to improve documentation efficiency.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Epic Reporting Workbench, Power BI, Excel, and other tools.
• Create training materials and workflow documentation to support EHR best practices.
• Coordinate project timelines and status updates for HIT initiatives.
