Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking an IT/Healthcare IT professional to support identifying and implementing optimal technical solutions that integrate with existing systems. You will prepare work plans for upgrades, configure environments, and evaluate workflows while documenting specifications and testing scenarios.

Responsibilities include resource estimation, timely delivery, and clear communication of variances to management; Epic Systems certification upon hire is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year EHR application build, implementation and support experience.
• 4 years progressive experience in information services or healthcare experience.
• Small to medium-scale implementation/upgrades.
• Test Plan development.
• Information Technology Experience and/or Healthcare Operations Experience.
• Project Management of Large Initiatives.
• Implementation/Upgrade Support.
• Applications Planning, Development and Implementation.
• Technical Collaboration (Interfaces, Hardware and Reporting).
• Epic Certification - Epic Systems Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Supports the business in identifying optimal technical solutions for issues and processes, ensuring seamless integration with other business and technology systems.
• Prepares work plans to support analysis and testing of system upgrades, modifications and enhancements.
• Configures, implements, and maintains technical requirements across development, staging, and production environments.
• Evaluates work processes and feasibility of project requests; resolves operational issues.
• Develops clear specifications and documentation as assigned.
• Plans and executes comprehensive test scenarios for thorough validation.
• Assists in developing technology standards.
• Assists in estimating resources required for task completion.
• Completes assigned tasks by due date or documents variances.
