Cornerstonetechtalent is seeking an experienced Epic ECSA Server Engineer for a remote contract with potential extension. The role supports Epic deployment platforms, servers, networks, and performance across production and non-production environments, collaborating with internal teams to maintain availability and conduct upgrades.

Requirements include Epic ECSA certification, 3+ years Epic ECSA experience, 2+ years healthcare IT, and 3+ years IT experience.

Qualifications

• Current Epic ECSA Certification.
• Minimum 3 years of direct Epic ECSA experience.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive IT experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following: Web Services Admin, Systems Engineering, or Network Administration.
• Must currently reside in TX, FL, AZ, SC, NC, KY, GA, IN, or TN.
• Candidates who do not currently hold an Epic ECSA certification cannot be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, manage, maintain, and configure Epic application deployment platforms.
• Support production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, and non-production Epic environments.
• Install and maintain administrative and monitoring tools supporting system performance and availability.
• Apply Epic and platform upgrades and updates to production and non-production web server components.
• Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of integrated third-party software and peripherals.
• Follow Epic and vendor best practices for hardware and software configuration.
• Monitor system performance and assist with capacity planning.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Troubleshoot outstanding system issues and technical tasks.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and system information within a centralized knowledge base.
• Collaborate with Epic and internal technical teams to provide proactive system support.
• Respond to user and system issues in a timely manner.
• Manage individual workload while contributing effectively within a larger technical team.
• Prioritize assignments and meet established project deadlines.
