Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking Epic Analysts – Data & Integration to design, implement, and support Epic tools that connect applications, deliver analytics, and enable secure data exchange across the health system.

You will design interfaces, develop dashboards, and collaborate with departments and vendors to ensure accurate data movement and actionable insights for clinical and executive teams.

Qualifications

• Epic certification within 12 months of hire (domestic travel required to obtain certification).
• Experience supporting healthcare information systems, data integration, analytics, or enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with databases, reporting tools, interfaces, or systems integration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Epic interfaces, integrations, and interoperability solutions.
• Develop and optimize reporting, dashboards, and analytics that support clinical, operational, financial, and executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure accurate, secure, and reliable data exchange.
• Support interface troubleshooting, issue resolution, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Participate in Epic upgrades, implementation projects, testing, and production support.
• Build and maintain reporting solutions using Epic reporting tools and enterprise data repositories.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Document technical specifications, workflows, testing plans, and support procedures.
• Partner with project teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
