Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking Epic Analysts for Revenue Cycle & Access to join our Information Technology team in Augusta, ME. You will optimize Epic applications across patient access, scheduling, billing, coding, claims management, and revenue cycle operations to deliver strong financial performance and improved patient experience.

Qualifications

• Epic certification required within 12 months of hire, domestic travel to obtain certification.
• Experience supporting healthcare applications, patient access, revenue cycle, finance, or healthcare operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Coding, and operational leaders to improve workflows and optimize Epic functionality.
• Configure, build, test, and implement Epic application enhancements.
• Analyze business processes and recommend technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
• Participate in Epic upgrades, optimization initiatives, and new application implementations.
• Develop workflow documentation, testing plans, training materials, and system specifications.
• Ensure Epic configurations support regulatory compliance, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve scheduling, registration, billing, coding, claims management, and patient financial workflows.
