MaineGeneral Health is seeking Epic Analysts – Revenue Cycle & Access to join our Information Technology team and optimize Epic applications that support patient access, registration, scheduling, billing, coding, claims management, and revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

• Epic certification within 12 months of hire; domestic travel to obtain certification.
• Experience supporting healthcare applications, patient access, revenue cycle, finance, or operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Coding, and leaders to optimize Epic functionality.
• Configure, build, test, and implement Epic application enhancements.
• Analyze business processes and recommend tech solutions for efficiency and financial performance.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
• Participate in Epic upgrades and new implementations.
• Develop workflow documentation, testing plans, and training materials.
• Ensure Epic configurations meet regulatory and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve scheduling, registration, billing, coding, and patient financial workflows.
