Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS seeks an Epic Cupid Analyst to design, implement, and optimize Cupid workflows supporting Cardiac Cath Lab, Respiratory Therapy, EKG, and EEG services.

The role collaborates with clinical and operational teams to ensure safe, efficient Epic solutions, provides testing/documentation, and participates in training/go-live activities. Onsite at least twice weekly with occasional evenings or on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare/IT
• 1–3+ years healthcare clinical, cardiovascular, ancillary services, EHR, or healthcare IT experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• System Design & Build: Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Cupid functionality; support Cath Lab, Respiratory Therapy, EKG/ECG, and EEG workflows; build/maintain orders, documentation, scheduling, results, SmartTools, SmartForms, flowsheets, order sets, preference lists, workqueues, and decision support tools; coordinate device integrations; participate in upgrades and optimization initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, clinical discipline, or related field, or equivalent experience
