Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS seeks an Epic Cupid Analyst to design, build, implement, and optimize Cupid workflows across Cardiac Cath Lab, Respiratory Therapy, EKG and EEG services. The role partners with clinical and operational teams to ensure safe, efficient workflows and ongoing system support.

Hybrid position with onsite presence at least twice weekly; occasional evenings and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology, clinical discipline, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Epic Cupid certification or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months (preferred).
Experience with Epic Cupid, EHR workflows, interfaces, and Epic implementations.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Cupid functionality for Cath Lab, Respiratory Therapy, EKG/ECG, and EEG workflows.
Build and maintain orders, documentation, scheduling, results, and decision support tools in Cupid.
Troubleshoot workflow, documentation, scheduling, interface, and device issues with Epic and vendors.
Train, support go-lives, and participate in governance and project teams.
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to translate workflows into Epic solutions.
