Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Cupid Cardiology Department seeks an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst II to design, configure, test, and maintain Epic workflows. You will manage incidents, lead small-to-medium projects, and collaborate with clinical and IT teams across modules such as Radiant, OpTime, Cadence, ClinDoc, and Resolute.

The role requires 5–6 years of clinical information systems experience, Epic certification within timeframe, and willingness to travel/on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information systems, business, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• 5-6 years of direct clinical/healthcare operations or clinical information systems experience; Epic experience preferred.
• Epic certification in assigned application(s) required or must be obtained within timeframe established by AHC; travel/on-call may be required.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze intermediate-to-advanced clinical requirements; design workflows and configure Epic applications.
• Owns complex incidents and requests; performs root-cause analysis and coordinates cross-application troubleshooting.
• Plan and lead small-to-medium application projects, enhancements, upgrades, and process-improvement initiatives.
• Serve as liaison among end users, leaders, Epic reps, and technical teams; ensure solutions meet business needs and timelines.
• Assess impact of changes; develop and execute testing (unit, integration, regression, UAT) and validate outcomes.
• Maintain documentation; develop knowledge articles, training materials, and procedures for end-user education.
• Provide guidance and quality review for less-experienced analysts and users; promote best practices.
• Participate in go-lives, upgrades, downtimes, and on-call support; communicate status and risks to leadership.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information systems, business, or related field

5-6 years of clinical/healthcare IT experience
