Job summary

By The Bay Health in Larkspur, CA is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to optimize Epic workflows and align technology with patient care. You will bridge frontline staff, operations, and IT, supporting go-lives, training, and ongoing end-user support.

The role emphasizes clinical workflow optimization, EHR builds, and governance with a strong preference for candidates with RN background and Home Health/Hospice experience. Monday–Friday on-site schedule; competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare operations, or EHR support.
Experience with Epic systems required (Rover experience strongly preferred).
Clinical background strongly preferred (Registered Nurse highly desirable).
Experience in Home Health and/or Hospice care strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, and optimize clinical workflows within Epic and related systems.
Configure, test, and maintain Epic applications and support upgrades.
Provide occasional onsite Epic training coverage as part of a rotating team.
Provide hands-on end-user support during go-lives, upgrades, and initiatives.
Manage informatics tickets and triage issues impacting workflows.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Collaborate with clinical leaders and IT to translate needs into solutions.
Support regulatory, quality initiatives and governance processes.
