Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst Sr to identify workflow issues and lead system and process requirements to optimize EHR performance and utilization by clinicians.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and governance committees to evaluate EMR functionality and drive improvements in order set content and workflows, with a focus on high quality, cost-effective, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of clinical healthcare experience.
• Two+ years in Clinical Informatics or Epic-focused roles.
• Licensure in a healthcare field (RN/LPN/RT/PT/MLS) or equivalent.
• Epic Clinical Informatics Certification within 12 months of hire or Order Set Epic Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-wide support for order sets ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Lead governance discussions with physicians, nurses and other clinicians.
• Develop KPIs and analyze data to drive continuous process improvement.
• Evaluate EMR functionality and propose enhancements to order set content and workflows.
