Job summary

Prominence Advisors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Epic Clinical Documentation Analyst to serve as the primary support contact and application expert for Clinical Documentation at an academic health system.

This remote role will configure, build, and support the application through project work, go-live, and ongoing operations, with periodic onsite work as determined by the customer. The role requires Active EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation certification and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• Active EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation certification required.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting Epic Clinical Documentation.
• Experience supporting end-user training, go-live, and stabilization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support contact and SME for Epic Clinical Documentation.
• Configure, build, and install the Epic Clinical Documentation module; coordinate issues.
• Analyze clinical workflows and policies and how they impact Epic configurations.
• Document operational specs and app functionality in detail.
• Review Epic releases to determine workflow changes and configure tables.
• Conduct system testing and data validation during conversions.
• Develop internal procedures and change control for the app.
• Create training materials and train end users on workflows.
• Troubleshoot user problems during training, go-live, stabilization, and ongoing support (24/7 as needed).
• Coordinate with other clinical apps teams for interoperability and third-party devices.
• Perform additional duties to successfully deliver projects.
