Job summary

Ellit Groups is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Clarity Report Writer for a remote staff augmentation engagement of 14–18 months. The role focuses on designing, developing, validating, and maintaining Epic Clarity reports to support patient access, billing, claims, reimbursement, and collections across the revenue cycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong Epic Clarity reporting experience and healthcare data knowledge, capable of translating business needs into effective reporting

Qualifications

• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experiencedRevenue Cycle Clarity Report Writerto provide staff augmentation and subject matter expertise for a healthcare technology initiative. This individual will design, develop, validate, and maintain reports using Epic Clarity to support patient access, billing, claims, reimbursement, collections, and revenue cycle operations.

The ideal candidate has strong Epic Clarity reporting experience, knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and data, and the ability to develop accurate reports that support operational and financial decision-making.

This engagement is expected to last approximately14 to 18 monthsand is anticipated tofully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, validate, and maintain revenue cycle reports using Epic Clarity.
• Gather and document reporting requirements from revenue cycle, finance, operational, technical, and leadership stakeholders.
• Translate business and financial requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and present revenue cycle data.
• Analyze revenue cycle data structures, workflows, and reporting dependencies.
• Develop reports related to patient access, registration, billing, claims, denials, reimbursement, accounts receivable, collections, and financial performance.
• Validate report accuracy, completeness, and consistency against source systems.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, data discrepancies, and performance concerns.
• Partner with Epic application analysts, database administrators, technical teams, and revenue cycle subject matter experts.
• Support testing, peer review, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain report specifications, data definitions, validation documentation, and technical documentation.
• Follow established reporting governance, security, privacy, and quality standards.
• Provide reporting subject matter expertise and recommend improvements to reporting processes and solutions.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to project leadership.
• Support knowledge transfer and provide guidance to project team members as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, healthcare informatics, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing reports using Epic Clarity.
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience working with healthcare revenue cycle, financial, or billing data.
• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and terminology.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical reporting solutions.
• Experience testing, validating, and troubleshooting complex reports.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with financial, operational, and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote staff augmentation or consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or prior Epic Clarity certification.
• Experience with Epic Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Prelude, Cadence, Grand Central, or related revenue cycle applications.
• Experience with Epic Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, Radar, or SlicerDicer.
• Experience developing reports for claims, denials, reimbursement, accounts receivable, collections, charge capture, or revenue cycle performance.
• Familiarity with healthcare financial reporting, payer requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Experience supporting a large healthcare organization or public-sector healthcare environment.
• Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools.
