Job summary

UT Health San Antonio seeks a clinical applications analyst to design and test information system processes, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with leadership, faculty and staff on system builds and enhancements.

You will evaluate requirements, coordinate deployments, troubleshoot systems, and contribute to training programs while ensuring adherence to internal procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
• Self-motivated and directed.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication; deliver presentations; lead and train others.
• Solid customer service acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with clinical or business systems and software development lifecycles.
• Epic certification for Cadence and Referrals within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze problems and submit recommendations.
• Serve as liaison between end-users and vendors for system build, configuration and functionality.
• Prepare detailed program specifications, diagrams and flowcharts, and coordinate installation with operations/vendors.
• Configure, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot clinical information systems.
• Communicate changes and perform QA checks to ensure standards.
• Develop and adhere to internal procedures for related applications and systems.
• Provide in-depth support and project management for operations.
• Test applications and components and contribute to test plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop operating standards and training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
