Job summary

Engage Partners Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to deliver BI solutions within the Data and Advanced Analytics team. You will work with structured and unstructured data to develop ad-hoc reports, automated reports, extracts, data products, and dashboards.

The role requires collaboration with caregivers and subject matter experts to define analytic requirements and ensure timely delivery of insights using Epic Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle, and Cogito.

Qualifications

• Must be able to translate business needs into BI requirements.
• Experience delivering ad-hoc reports, dashboards and data products.
• Familiarity with data modeling and analytics techniques.

Responsibilities

• Create content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle.
• Work with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers.
• Maintaining the Analytics Catalog and associated metadata records.
• Configuring and testing Epic released and Foundation System content for analytics applications.
• Meets with caregivers to gain a better understanding of business needs and collaboratively identify analytic requirements.
• Model basic to intermediate business problems and identify insights using statistical, mining, and visualization techniques.
• Evaluate BI tools and coordinate configurations with IT teams.
• Provide support for BI solutions of basic to intermediate complexity.

The Business Intelligence Developer works under the supervision of the Business Intelligence Manager as part of the Data and Advanced Analytics team and is a key resource in ensuring the delivery of BI solutions for our business partners. An excellent blend of analytical, technical and communication skills in a team-based environment is essential for this role. Works with structured and unstructured data to develop ad-hoc reports, automated reports, extracts, data products, and dashboards.

• Create content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle
• .Work with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers
• .Maintaining the Analytics Catalog and associated metadata records
• .Configuring and testing Epic released and Foundation System content for all analytics applications
• .Meets with caregivers to gain a better understanding of the business needs and collaboratively identify best practice solutions and define analytic requirements
• .Responsible for modeling basic to intermediate business problems, discovering business insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques
• .Participates in the evaluation of BI utilities and tools while coordinating application and integration configurations needs with other IT teams
• .Provides support and works with one or more BI solutions (beyond Epic Cogito) of basic to intermediate complexity
