Job summary

Nordic is seeking an Epic BI Developer to design, build, and maintain analytics content within the Epic reporting suite and related data platforms. You will translate business data needs into robust BI solutions, working with Epic Analysts, DBAs, and end users to deliver accurate, timely reports.

Ideal candidates have Epic Clarity data model knowledge, Cogito certification, and experience with PowerBI or Tableau in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Math, Business or Information Systems preferred.
Epic Clarity Data Model Certification/Accreditation required.
Cogito Certification/Accreditation required.
Experience with PowerBI/Tableau or other visualization tools.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Translate business data needs into recurring data extracts or develop custom BI solutions.
Work with Epic Analysts, DBAs, architects, and users to define reporting needs.
Provide training and support on BI tools and data interpretation.
Maintain Epic Reporting Content from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle.
Configure and test Epic content for reporting tools (Radar, Cubes, Extracts, and third-party BI tools).
Distribute analytics content and maintain Analytics Catalog and metadata records.
Ensure HIPAA compliance and data privacy policies.
