Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a professional to support managed care and government reimbursement contracts within Epic HB and PB. You will monitor contract performance, identify underpayments and revenue opportunities, and coordinate with multiple departments to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include configuring payer contracts, translating terms, developing tests, and maintaining mappings and SOPs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in Managed Care, Government Finance, Revenue Cycle or Billing in healthcare.
• Experience with CMS or state Medicaid programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure payer reimbursement contracts in Epic HB and PB.
• Translate reimbursement terms, exclusions, carve-outs and fee schedules.
• Develop test scenarios to ensure correct reimbursement calculations.
• Research reimbursement discrepancies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain payer and plan mappings to ensure contracts link to correct payers and services.
• Maintain build specs, testing evidence, approvals, and SOPs.
• Explain contract terms and Epic reimbursement logic to Revenue Cycle teams.
• Stay updated on CMS, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement rules and updates.
