Job summary

Temple University Health System seeks an EPIC BI Developer II in Philadelphia, PA to translate business needs into BI requirements for designing and developing reporting and analytic solutions. Develop analytic solutions using BI reporting tools such as Clarity and the Epic Cogito Suite.

Focus on the Epic system with Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, and SlicerDicer, and may extend to SSIS ETL and data marts for storage or processing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in MIS, CS, Information Systems, or related field.
Epic Certification or Accreditation in Cogito and Clarity Data Model.
5 years of SQL query writing and relational database reporting experience.
4 years in a healthcare data role with Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito (Reporting Workbench, Radar, Slicer Dicer).
2 years in SSIS and ETL development; SSRS visualization experience.

Responsibilities

Translate business needs into BI requirements and develop reports and extracts.
Develop Clarity, Caboodle, Workbench, Slicer Dicer, and Radar reports.
Contribute to data warehouse strategies and ETL processes; support data transmission to vendors and regulatory bodies.
Work with EMR/Revenue Cycle Analysts to understand Epic data structures and reporting needs.
Provide training on Slicer Dicer and Reporting Workbench for end users.
