Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Epic BI Developer to design, build, and optimize dashboards and reports within a large healthcare environment. The role focuses on Epic Cogito tooling, including Radar, RWB, SlicerDicer, and Cogito SQL to enable operational and clinical decision-making.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable analytics solutions, perform testing and validation, and ensure data accuracy across enterprise reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Epic Cogito reporting experience in a healthcare setting.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting Epic Radar dashboards.
• Strong experience with Reporting Workbench (RWB).
• Proficient with SlicerDicer for reporting and analytics and Cogito SQL.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic BI Developer to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives within a large healthcare environment. This individual will play a critical role in designing, building, testing, and optimizing dashboards and reports that enable operational and clinical decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Epic Cogito tools, including Radar, Reporting Workbench (RWB), SlicerDicer, and Cogito SQL. Dashboard development will be the primary focus of this role, with additional responsibility for foundation reporting, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Epic Radar dashboards to support operational, financial, and clinical stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize reporting solutions using Epic Cogito tools.
• Create and support Reporting Workbench (RWB) reports, templates, and reporting structures.
• Configure and leverage SlicerDicer for self-service analytics and end-user reporting needs.

• Collaborate with operational leaders, analysts, and application teams to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions.
• Investigate and resolve reporting defects, data discrepancies, and dashboard performance issues.
• Support foundation reporting initiatives and enterprise reporting standardization efforts.
• Participate in ongoing reporting governance, documentation, and best-practice development.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Epic Cogito reporting experience within a healthcare environment.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting Epic Radar dashboards.
• Strong experience with Reporting Workbench (RWB).
• Strong experience utilizing SlicerDicer for reporting and analytics.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting reporting solutions using Cogito SQL.
• Proven experience performing testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Epic reporting environments.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large health systems or multi-hospital organizations.
• Experience with data governance, reporting optimization, and enterprise analytics initiatives.
• Knowledge of Epic Clarity and/or Caboodle environments.
• Experience working alongside clinical, revenue cycle, or operational teams.
