Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma seeks an experienced Epic analytics professional to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that empower healthcare decisions.

You will work with Epic Foundation System components (Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Cogito) and SQL to deliver validated insights that improve performance and operational outcomes for clinical and administrative teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business).
  • Experience developing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Proficiency with BI, analytics, and healthcare reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Configures, tests, and deploys Epic Foundation System and Epic-released content across Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Cogito, and SQL reporting environments.
  • Develops analytics solutions using Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle to support reporting and operations.
  • Designs custom SQL metrics and configures Radar dashboards for actionable insights.
  • Ensures report accuracy, data integrity, and validation through testing and reviews.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Job description

Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule (40% Remote, 60% Onsite)

Supports healthcare operations and strategic decision-making through the development, optimization, and delivery of Epic analytics and reporting solutions. Leverages Epic Cogito tools, SQL development, and healthcare data platforms to transform complex clinical and operational data into meaningful insights that drive performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes
  • Configures, tests, and deploys Epic Foundation System and Epic-released content across Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Cogito, and SQL reporting environments.
  • Develops and maintains analytics solutions utilizing data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle to support organizational reporting and operational objectives.
  • Designs custom SQL metrics and configures Radar dashboards to deliver actionable performance indicators and business insights.
  • Ensures report accuracy, consistency, and data integrity through validation, peer review, testing, and continuous optimization efforts.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders, clinical leaders, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintains analytics catalog records and metadata to support reporting governance, discoverability, and standardization.
  • Conducts system, user acceptance, and volume testing to ensure reliability and scalability of analytics solutions in production environments.
  • Evaluates Epic upgrade enhancements and implements Cogito-related changes to maximize reporting functionality and end-user value.
  • Builds and supports advanced analytics assets, including Cubes, Extracts, SlicerDicer custom filters, Caboodle data structures, and third-party business intelligence integrations.
  • Troubleshoots complex reporting and data issues while providing effective solutions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Qualifications & Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Experience developing SQL queries and working with relational database concepts.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence, analytics, and healthcare reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in stakeholder consultation, requirements gathering, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows, operations, clinical processes, and data-driven performance management.
