Position Overview
We are seeking experienced ATE (At‑the‑Elbow) Epic Support Analysts to assist with a large‑scale Epic Beaker big bang go‑live across a major hospital system in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This short‑term engagement will provide on‑site support to laboratory staff during the transition to Epic Beaker, ensuring smooth adoption, minimal workflow disruption, and rapid issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist end users with navigation, workflow questions, and system functionality.
- Troubleshoot basic issues and elevate complex problems to the command center or application teams.
- Monitor workflows in real time to identify bottlenecks or user challenges.
- Offer guidance on best practices and reinforce training concepts.
- Document issues, trends, and user feedback for leadership and application analysts.
- Support multiple laboratory locations across the DFW Metroplex as assigned.
- Adapt to varied schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on site needs.
Qualifications
- Prior Epic Beaker go‑live or ATE support experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory workflows (microbiology, pathology, specimen processing, etc.).
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced clinical environments and support multiple user types.
- Reliable transportation to travel between DFW‑area sites as needed.
- This is an on‑site role at multiple hospital and laboratory locations.
- Orientation and site‑specific training will be provided prior to go‑live.
