The role emphasizes design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support to ensure smooth workflows and high user productivity.

The candidate should have an associate degree (preferred) with Epic Certification and extensive experience in large healthcare IT environments.

Qualifications

Requires Epic Certification and 4+ years experience with large healthcare information systems.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities; able to translate user needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication, collaboration and customer service skills; able to lead others when needed.
Experience with Epic or other Health Information Systems is required; capable of supporting complex projects.

Responsibilities

Translate user and department Epic system needs into technical solutions.
Perform project reviews and process walkthroughs integrating technical, clinical and business solutions.
Provide technical knowledge in Epic and other software applications; support system builds, testing and implementation.
Lead or assist in after-hours support and ongoing Epic user support.
Develop plans, prioritize projects and report status to management.
Contribute to staff training and maintain technical documentation.
