Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking an Application Coordinator to lead the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of Epic clinical and revenue cycle applications. You will obtain and maintain Epic certification and provide Tier III on-call support as part of a cross-functional IS team.

The role requires deep Epic knowledge, collaboration with clinical/financial departments, and ongoing maintenance of critical relationships with physicians and staff who use the Epic suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or clinical licensure required.
• Four years of experience in business administration, information technology, healthcare or related field required.
• 1 year of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) application experience preferred or
• Active Epic proficiency achieved with a score of 90 required

Responsibilities

• Design, build, testing, validation and ongoing support of clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• On-call periodically on a 24/7 basis to provide tier III level support of Epic applications.
• Implement configuration changes to the Epic system as approved by the appropriate committee.
