Northwell Health seeks an Epic IT professional to implement, maintain, and support Epic EHR applications, focusing on specific modules. You will independently analyze and resolve moderately complex issues, configuring and optimizing the Epic system to meet business needs.

You will collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT teams to gather requirements, participate in testing and upgrades, and ensure seamless operation with minimal disruption to daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1–3 years of relevant Epic experience (required).
• Epic certification required.

Responsabilités

• Implements, maintains, and supports Epic IT solutions, focusing on specific modules.
• Analyzes and documents complex use cases and workflows, making independent decisions on technical approaches.
• Configures, tests, installs, and maintains Epic applications from functional requirements.
• Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex application issues per guidelines and experience.
• Collaborates with clinicians, administrators and IT to gather requirements and design Epic solutions.
• Participates in testing and validation of system upgrades and optimizations.
• Conducts thorough testing of changes to ensure seamless integration.
• Performs related duties as required under ADA.

Job Description

Implements, maintains, and supports Epic EHR applications, focusing on specific modules. Independently analyzes and resolves moderately complex issues, leveraging established guidelines and experience to configure and optimize the Epic system. Actively contributes to process design and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.

Job Responsibility

• 1.Implements and provides ongoing support for specific Epic IT solutions, ensuring seamless operation and optimal functionality.
• 2.Analyzes and documents complex use cases and workflows, making independent decisions on optimal technical approaches and system configuration.
• 3.Configures, tests, installs, and maintains Epic applications, translating functional requirements into system build.
• 4.Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex application-related issues, applying established guidelines and prior experience.
• 5.Collaborates with various internal stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and IT teams, to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and design solutions, ensuring Epic application specifications meet business needs, support process design initiatives , and promote effective system utilization.
• 6.Participates in the testing and validation of system upgrades and supports ongoing system optimization efforts.
• 7.Conducts thorough testing of system changes to guarantee seamless integration and minimal disruption to daily operations.

Job Qualification

• 1.Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
