Job Description

FOR USE BY HSIS ONLY: To participate in the analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support of software critical to healthcare operations. To maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. To optimize performance to ensure the system effectively supports healthcare operations. To stay current on technological advancements and adapts to new developments. To provide ongoing system support through on-call duties, monitoring, and maintenance. To commit to fostering an environment of heightened security by adhering to Information Technology Security Policies and completing annual security training, including compliance with the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and six (6) years of healthcare application support experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Epic certification in area of support or certification obtained within 12 weeks of completing Epic training with no more than two (2) testing attempts required.

  • Research Protocol Build preferred but not required.
