The Epic Ambulatory Analyst provides expert support, configuration, and administration of Epic applications to enhance operational efficiencies for patients and staff. They train and mentor junior analysts, troubleshoot issues across IT teams, and ensure high-quality application availability. The role also informs budget planning and project management to support the department's mission.
Configure and support Epic Ambulatory and MyChart applications to meet user needs
Train and mentor junior analysts and end users on application operation and administration
Collaborate with customers across all levels to improve tool utilization and operational efficiencies
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in coordination with IT teams and manage change
Administer applications at a high level, ensuring consistent availability and quality delivery
Recommend budget projections and project plans to support department objectives
Participate in Access Transformation initiatives, integrating technology and automation into patient workflows
Maintain documentation and best-practice guides for application usage
Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to streamline clinical and business processes
Engage with stakeholders to align application solutions with evolving patient care models
Five years' experience in IT or clinical or business workflow
Experience supporting large scale clinical, ancillary or business environments
EPIC MyChart and/or EPIC Ambulatory certification or experience
Experience with MyChart/CAD type projects (optional)
You hold Epic Ambulatory or MyChart certification and experience. You have five years in IT, clinical, or workflow environments. You enjoy training users, troubleshooting issues, and improving processes
