Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA) is seeking a Warranty Manager to oversee EPC warranty operations for utility-scale solar and BESS projects. The role supports the Director of EPC Warranty, ensuring warranty obligations are met cost-effectively and in compliance with contracts.

The ideal candidate blends technical, commercial, and operational expertise, collaborating with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Legal, and Finance, as well as OEMs, subcontractors, and project owners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in EPC project delivery, warranty management, or contract administration.
Familiarity with EPC contract structures, warranty terms, and claims processes.
Strong technical understanding of solar or renewable energy components.
Proficiency with Procore, Excel, and database tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of warranty claims from intake to closeout.
Maintain claim logs and documentation using approved systems.
Coordinate site inspections and technical evaluations for claim validity.
Prepare claim packages and communicate with Owners and OEMs for approvals.
Track warranty performance metrics, timelines and costs.
Interpret EPC contract warranty provisions and OEM terms.
Analyze technical issues to distinguish workmanship from equipment faults.
Provide recommendations on claim dispositions based on merit.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve claims.
Develop warranty reports and dashboards for management.
Lead or participate in process improvements and training for warranty workflows.
Conduct site visits to verify defects and repair quality.
