Job summary

Nova Solutions Group seeks an experienced EPC Project Planner to support solar, battery storage, and high-voltage construction on a site-based assignment in Michigan. You will coordinate with project managers, superintendents, schedulers, and field teams to ensure the right resources, permits, and work fronts are available when needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EPC construction planning, scheduling, or project controls.
• Advanced Primavera P6 experience.
• Experience with resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site with rotations.
• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, 3-week, and 90-day look-ahead plans.
• Monitor productivity, quantities, manpower, equipment, and progress.
• Identify upcoming constraints and suggest alternative sequencing.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, testing, commissioning, energization activities.
• Work with Procurement to align material deliveries and subcontractor mobilization.
• Forecast labor and equipment requirements and minimize downtime.
• Monitor critical path and communicate risks and opportunities.
• Support project forecasting using production and historical data.
• Collaborate with Schedulers and Project Controls to maintain schedule integrity.
• Track permitting, documentation, testing, and completion requirements.
• Assist leadership in adjusting the plan as conditions change.
