Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering design projects across civil, electrical, mechanical, and automation disciplines. You will report to the Operations Leader, build client relationships, and drive projects from inception to delivery in a hybrid work setup.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in engineering or related PM experience, a proven track record in delivering on time and on budget, and strong communication skills.

• Requires proven experience leading engineering projects across civil, electrical, mechanical, and automation teams.
• Strong ability to define scope and document engineering requirements.
• Track record of delivering projects on budget and on time.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with engineering processes and cross-disciplinary coordination.

• Lead Projects: Take charge from start to finish, ensuring every detail is covered.
• Define Vision: Shape and document the engineering scope with clarity.
• Oversee Deliverables: Ensure every project aspect is delivered on time.
• Coordinate Resources: Secure everything the team needs, from drawings to site visits.
• Exceed Expectations: Guarantee client satisfaction and project success.
• Track Success: Monitor and manage project costs effectively.
• Adapt and Communicate: Quickly adjust to changes and keep everyone informed.
• Solve Problems: Address and resolve client issues promptly.
• Build Trust: Maintain strong, lasting relationships with our clients.
• Follow Protocols: Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures.
• Manage Budgets: Secure purchase orders, manage budgets, and ensure timely invoicing.
• Plan Ahead: Anticipate future project needs and opportunities.
• Travel: Be ready to travel up to 30% for exciting site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar project management experience
• Proven experience in managing engineering projects
• Knowledge of engineering processes
• Ability to build strong client relationships and uncover new opportunities
• Track record of delivering projects on budget and on time
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Experience in Food & Beverage, Pulp & Paper, and Consumer Products is a plus
• PMP certification is preferred
