Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, is seeking a Project Manager to lead DI equipment installations, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget and specifications. The role includes initiation, procurement oversight, schedule control, and project closeout.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction or energy projects, experience with contractors, and excellent communication skills. This full-time position requires travel and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar; 4+ years in the industry.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Experience with GC and subcontractors.
• Experience supervising Construction Managers, Subcontractors, and Internal Resources.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in using computers and standard office software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and lead Initial Project Meetings (IPM).
• Oversee contract review, pricing assessment, budget development, schedule development, and implementation plan.
• Facilitate Production/Procurement Release for manufacturing.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage installation timelines with high quality and customer service.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure projects are installed safely, on time, and on budget.
