Job description

Project Executive - Mission Critical - Texas

We're exclusively supporting one of North America's fastest-growing EPC contractors as they continue to expand their Mission Critical business across the U.S.

Already ENR recognised as a market leader in industrial and energy construction, the company has rapidly established itself as a major player within the hyperscale data center market. With multiple landmark projects underway, a substantial backlog of secured work, and significant investment behind its Mission Critical division, they're building one of the industry's premier leadership teams.

This is a business known throughout the industry for looking after its people.

Executive leadership is highly accessible, decision-making is fast, and successful leaders are given genuine autonomy to build teams, shape strategy, and influence the direction of the business. Promotion is based on performance rather than tenure, and many of the company's senior leaders have built long-term careers through internal progression.

This role is designed for an executive who enjoys building organisations as much as delivering projects.

Why this opportunity stands out
  • Executive leadership role overseeing a portfolio of North America's largest Mission Critical programmes.
  • Join a contractor rapidly expanding its hyperscale data center footprint with a significant pipeline of secured work.
  • Lead major programmes exceeding $500M and, in many cases, $1bn +
  • Direct influence over strategy, operations, client relationships, organisational growth, and business development.
  • Industry-leading culture built around employee development, collaboration, and long-term career progression.
  • Financially strong EPC contractor with decades of success across complex industrial and infrastructure markets.
  • Top 1% Compensation
The Opportunity

You'll provide executive leadership across major Mission Critical programmes and strategic client accounts, overseeing multiple Project Directors, Construction Executives, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Beyond project execution, you'll play a key role in shaping organisational strategy - driving operational excellence, mentoring future leaders, strengthening executive client relationships, and supporting continued growth within one of the industry's fastest-expanding sectors.

You'll be trusted to make high-level commercial decisions, oversee portfolio performance, guide risk management, and ensure projects consistently achieve exceptional financial, operational, and client outcomes.

What We're Looking For
  • 20+ years of leadership experience across EPC, industrial construction, Mission Critical, infrastructure, or major capital projects.
  • Executive experience leading complex project organisations delivering programmes exceeding $500M, with exposure to billion-dollar projects strongly preferred.
  • Proven success managing large multidisciplinary organisations of 150-500+ personnel.
  • Strong commercial leadership across contracts, procurement, financial performance, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Executive-level client management experience with a track record of developing long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Background within hyperscale data centers, Mission Critical infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, power generation, LNG, or similarly complex capital projects is highly desirable.
  • A collaborative leadership style focused on developing people, building high-performing organisations, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

The demand for Mission Critical infrastructure continues to accelerate, and this contractor is investing heavily to strengthen its executive leadership team.
