Job summary

KBR is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support large EPC projects by managing procurement of goods and services under direct supervision. The role involves negotiating supplier terms, driving cost reductions, and coordinating with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering teams to ensure timely material flow.

Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or Business and 3+ years of procurement experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or Business and/or 3+ years of Procurement experience in a global EPC setting.
• Experience with bid, evaluate, award cycles and contract execution is a plus.
• Proven track record in cost reduction initiatives and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Execute cradle to grave purchasing activities for a specific commodity group or project.
• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Develop supplier base and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
