Job summary

Atlas OT is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the operational backbone of the organization, overseeing project delivery, resource planning, engineering execution, quality, safety, and cross‑functional coordination.

The role requires deep experience in EPC workflows, vendor coordination, and turnkey execution. You will mentor managers, drive KPI‑driven improvement, and partner with suppliers and clients to ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial automation, EPC or systems integration.
• 5+ years of leadership leading multi‑discipline technical teams.
• Strong PLC/HMI/SCADA, industrial networking, and instrumentation.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects with strict scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience with EPC workflows: design packages, submittals, RFIs, procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, and commissioning.
• Demonstrated success building operational systems, processes, and KPIs in a technical org.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across engineering, project management, fabrication, and field execution.
• Build and maintain operational systems, processes, and KPIs that support scalable growth.
• Oversee resource planning, workload balancing, and staffing strategy across active and upcoming projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery workflows, documentation standards, and quality systems.
• Provide executive oversight for automation and controls projects across design, procurement, fabrication, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and turnover.
• Ensure schedules, budgets, risk logs, and change logs are maintained by PMs and engineering leads.
