Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Field Construction Management professional in Orlando, FL, to support EPC project execution across diverse industries. You will assist safety, quality, schedule, contract administration, procurement, and field activities, interfacing with client teams and internal project managers.

The role covers RFP development, bid processes, subcontractor management, and Earned Value tracking, with a focus on reporting and documentation through project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field is required.
• Alternatively, applicable experience may substitute the degree requirement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist administration of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, and procurement.
• Support project team in client relationships and proposal/project items.
• Help execute Prime/Downstream contracts, change orders, and RFP processes.
• Contribute to Project Execution Plan, QA/Safety plans, Staffing, and procurement plans.
• Assist with jobsite setup, permits, sub-contractor registrations, and pre-qualification.
• Administer RFI's, submittals, change management, and claims mitigation.
• Support project controls: cost reporting, scheduling, WBS, and field progress.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and status reports to stakeholders.
• Record and distribute meeting minutes; participate in risk reviews and audits.
• Ensure compliance with policies; manage documentation and turnover closeout.
