Job summary

MYR Energy Services Inc. in Colorado seeks an Engineering Manager (EPC) to lead engineering and procurement for electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects from bid to closeout.

You will manage engineering delivery through third-party consultants, coordinate design reviews, support procurement and construction, and ensure final as-built documentation is complete and accurate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in design, engineering, or PM for electrical transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Experience managing project teams or consultants preferred.
• PE licensure preferred.
• Construction/EPC project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare proposals for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Define and establish project scope aligned with client and third party consultants.
• Manage design activities with engineering subcontractors and oversee deliverables from bidding to as-builts.
• Coordinate procurement activities with subcontractors and Procurement Manager.
• Work with vendors to expedite procurement information and deliverables.
• Define and prepare engineering standards, specifications, and procurement requirements.
• Plan daily engineering subcontractor and procurement activities with Project Executive/Manager.
• Support negotiations with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
