Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an EPC Project Manager to lead large energy storage projects, coordinating non-electrical work and budgets with internal teams and clients. You will ensure schedule adherence, cost control, and safety compliance while managing subcontractors and change orders.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction, strong knowledge of contract plans, and proficiency with Primavera P6, Procore, and Estimating tools. The role may require on-site work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience in general, civil, and structural construction, estimating, and project management.
• Experience estimating change orders.
• General knowledge of contract plans/specs and project accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related degree or accredited electrical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a project portfolio of assigned utility scale energy storage electrical construction projects.
• Act as lead Project Manager and/or co-Project Manager for the non-electrical aspects based on project needs.
• Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Project Executive or Division Manager.
• Oversee civil, concrete, structural, and finishes per contract documents.
• Perform contract review and management.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Prepare a complete estimate for selected project with a detailed review of plans, specs and bid form.
• Maintain a positive cash flow schedule through effective cashflow management.
• Prepare monthly costing reports under senior supervision.
