Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the installation of DI equipment, ensuring safety, timely delivery, and adherence to budget and specifications. The role covers project initiation, procurement oversight, budget and schedule control, and closeout.

Qualifications include a BS in engineering or construction management with 4+ years in construction or energy, strong English communication, and leadership of subcontractors and teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent with 4+ years in related industries.
• Alternative: High School Diploma with 8+ years in construction or energy industries.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Experience with general contractors and subcontractors.
• Experience supervising construction managers, subcontractors, and internal resources.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Proficient with computers and standard office software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Must be punctual, organized, and professional.
• Knowledge of project management, construction processes, schedule and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites per standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and lead Initial Project Meetings (IPM).
• Handle contract review, budget development, schedule creation, and implementation plan.
• Facilitate Production/Procurement Release for manufacturing.
• Lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Understand all aspects of the project and manage installation.
• Coordinate with parties for timely execution of the schedule.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget.
