Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified to join our Springfield Apartments in Richmond, VA. This full-time role focuses on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to keep our community running smoothly.

You’ll work Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with on-call rotations, a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and tuition for growth. EPA Type II or Universal required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly
