Qualifications

• Must possess a Universal Certification from an EPA approved certifying program.
• Screen-out element: ability to do the work without more than normal supervision.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• In-place repairs to air conditioning and refrigeration components such as pumps, chillers, impellors, compressors.
• Diagnose malfunctions in systems with analog and/or direct digital control (DDC) systems.
• Utilize refrigerant tables; calculate airflow and pressure-temperature characteristics.
• Select electronic test equipment to isolate problems.
• Use hand and power tools to install electronic systems.
