Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to join our cath lab team. You will be responsible for routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment and for delivering high quality patient care during invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.

The role requires RCIS/RCEP/AART certification or equivalent, BLS/ACLS, plus 2 years of EP or cath lab experience; we offer a comprehensive benefits package and work within a renowned regional health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of cardiovascular technology or equivalent allied health program.
• Certified or registered in cardiovascular technology (RCIS, RCEP, or AART).
• Documentation of 2 years of cardiac catheterization laboratory or electrophysiology lab work experience.
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and critical patient care and administer medications per physician orders during procedures.
• Assist physicians with percutaneous or cut-down procedures in the cath lab.
• Operate radiographic equipment and maintain records and procedure logs.
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards in the lab.
• Assist in transferring patients to and from the Cath Lab and support education before, during, and after procedures.
