Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist to perform general, invasive, and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular Cath Lab, EP Lab, and OR interventional rooms.

You will work with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care. The role requires radiologic training, ARRT licensure, and certification in BLS/ACLS, with potential for RCES/IBHRE credentials within two years.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified radiologic technology-training program.
• Current ARRT registration and Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license.
• BLS/ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• RCES or IBHRE credential within two years of hire (RCIS or ARRT CI/VI preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and emotional support to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Applies radiation safety standards (ALARA).
• Performs diagnostic radiographic exams in interventional settings.
• Maintains equipment and supplies based on patient needs.
• Performs EP, radiographic, and interventional procedures in lab settings.
• Operates as monitor scrub or circulator ensuring sterile technique.
