Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two plus years of relevant training/experience in medical device assembly.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English; clear speech and comprehension.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Overtime work is required.
• Previous microscope experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs Casting/Coating functions.
• Examines medical devices and assemblies after molding to locate bubbles, nicks and excess epoxy.
• Uses small drills, reamers, taps, and knives to access bubbles and remove epoxy.
• Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patches.
• Performs Mechanical Assembly functions; kits, assembles, bonds, coats devices and related parts using microscopes and tools.
• Locates and corrects problems by examining devices and components and visually inspecting parts/assemblies.
• Repairs and corrects devices and related components using microscopes and tools.
• Performs Packaging Functions; kits, assembles, packages devices and accessories using applicable tools.
• Reviews device documentation for completeness and accuracy.
