Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO, seeks an EP Technologist to support diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures under supervision. You will assist with cardiac device implantation and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires knowledge of radiographic imaging, 3D cardiac mapping, patient monitoring, and arrhythmia recognition. BLS/ACLS criteria apply, with opportunities for certification and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Cardiovascular Technology or Radiographic Technology program or equivalent with 2 years clinical experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of start date.
• RCES certification preferred.
• 1 year of cardiovascular experience with arrhythmia interpretation or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac device implantation.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiographic imaging, 3D mapping, patient monitoring and arrhythmia recognition during EP procedures.
• Complies with sterile techniques and data collection for outcomes and performance improvement.
• Carry out other activities assigned by supervisor to ensure department runs effectively.
