Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking an Electro physiology Lab Technologist (EP Tech) to provide safe patient care during cardiac procedures and to operate physiological systems. You will assist physicians, manage equipment, document patient status, and ensure sterility throughout cases.

Two years of EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab experience is preferred. Graduate of Cardiovascular Tech or Radiologic Tech program; RCIS or ARRT/Texas licensure with BLS and ACLS required on hire.

Qualifications

• Two years of Electro physiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience performing diagnostic and interventional procedures (preferred)
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or Radiologic Technology program
• Licenses: RCIS or Radiologic Technologist with ARRT; BLS and ACLS per policy

Responsabilités

• Provide safe patient care environment during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain and operate physiological systems; assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform unit-based activities contributing to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate radiation safety awareness and proper equipment checks.
• Position x-ray camera for fluoroscopy/angiography and pan table for views.
• Enter data into EP Hemodynamic Monitoring system and document steps and patient condition.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and responses to interventions during procedures.
• Communicate with Circulating nurse about supplies and charges; manage holding area patient care.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EP Lab equipment and sterile technique.
