Job summary

Methodist Hospital Texsan seeks a Certified EP Lab Technician to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will participate in electrophysiology procedures, scrub and recorder roles, and ensure accurate data collection and equipment setup in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include RCIS/RCES/ARRT or equivalent certification, high school diploma, and preferred experience in invasive cardiovascular technology. Training provided with emphasis on patient safety and radiation protection.

Qualifications

• Education requirements as listed: HS/GED plus one of several pathways.
• Experience requirements include 0+ years; preferred 1 year in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced technical proficiency for all Electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist physician in data entry and monitoring.
• Practice radiation safety per ALARA and regulatory bodies.
• Report life threatening arrhythmias using hemodynamic data and EP data.
• Archive angiographic and procedural data for long-term storage.
• Train new and existing staff in scrub/recorder roles.
