Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking an RN with expertise in Electrophysiology to join the EP Lab team in Roanoke, Virginia. This CVT RN role focuses on electrophysiology and interventional cardiology procedures within a Level 1 Trauma Center, offering specialized training to obtain RCES certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology settings is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Must have valid nursing license in Virginia.
• Current BLS-HCP certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during EP procedures and catheter-based interventions.
• Prepare and monitor advanced equipment and supplies for invasive procedures.
• Interpret EKG and hemodynamics during procedures and document findings.
• Assist in patient transport, positioning, and post-procedure care as directed.
• Contribute to ongoing quality and performance improvement initiatives.
